Terms of sale

Who we sell to

We sell wine to consumers aged 18 or over. Italian law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under 18: by confirming the order you declare that you are at least 18 years old. The courier may ask for proof of identity on delivery.

Prices

Prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs depend on the destination and are shown on the payment page before you confirm the order.

Order and payment

Choose your bottles, open the basket and proceed to payment. Payment is handled by Stripe: your card details do not pass through our site. The contract is concluded when the payment is successful; you will receive confirmation by email.

Quantities are limited: if a vintage sells out after you place your order, we will let you know and refund the unavailable bottles in full.

Shipping

We currently ship within Italy. We pack each case by hand, in the cellar, and hand it to the courier as soon as it is ready; we will let you know when it ships. Estimated delivery times are shown on the payment page.

On delivery, check that the parcel is intact. If it is damaged, accept it subject to a written reservation on the courier's delivery note and write to us within 8 days with a few photos: we will replace or refund the broken bottles.

Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason, by writing to ordini@vignaliponti.com. Within the following 14 days, return the bottles to us intact and unopened; the cost of returning them is borne by you.

We will refund the price paid and the standard outbound shipping cost within 14 days of your notice, using the same means of payment; we may withhold the refund until we have received the bottles.

Guarantee

You are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by the Italian Consumer Code (Codice del Consumo). If a bottle is defective, write to us: we will offer a replacement or a refund.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes with consumers fall within the jurisdiction of the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile.
